Rugged Wing Outfitters offers Duck and Goose hunting individualized to the groups specifications. RWO has many options for you to choose how/what waterfowl species you desire. You will have the opportunity to either hunt water (pond, slough etc.) or a dry field (corn, beans, wheat etc) depending on the Guides discretion. Our goal at RWO is to build the hunt that people dream about and the staff will take every step possible to make that happen. Our guides will scout the spot "x" for the hunt the day prior to ensure all factors are taken into consideration.

Equipment Needed:

Clothing to keep you warm throughout the hunt, temps can range from 0 degrees to 60. This is South Dakota.

Shotgun: 12-20 Gauge recommended. 12 Gauge is highly encouraged for adults hunting Canada Geese.

Shells: We encourage 3inch shells with shot size 2-4 for ducks and T-2 for geese.
